A bit more 'sophisticated; then some of my other fab and funky Mushroom wear, these are for toadstool connoisseurs! A double helping of 'Fly Agaric' style toadstools - well known in mythology and folklore.
The reason that these mushrooms are so deeply ingrained in our literature and idea of other worldliness is that although they are poisonous t humans, people from Lapland discovered that Reindeer are able to digest them with no problem. Being a strong hallucinogen, the Laps prized their mystical properties and were prepared to drink the urine of their animals to get that mystical flight of the mind... The mushrooms that aided Alice's growth and shrinking abilities, and a comfy seat for gnomes! This has already left my Etsy store (boo) but similar ones are available (hurrah!) [link] |
