I made this iPod nano case out of 100% cotton fabric that I designed and printed myself. It is lined with a complimenting cream coloured felt to keep the iPod in tip top condition and features a button of the same design as the fabric. Attached to the iPod case is a matching charm, which, in the Etsy listing [link] is included as a free gift.
This is one of a range of iPod cases which I am currently making.
It is all sewn by hand (because sewing machines scare me, hehe)
Aww, cute! Love the strawberry design! Hmm... this sorta inspires me to make something for my Sansa. I'm always dropping the thing, so it probably deserves some kind of scratch protector...

Oh that's cute! I especially like the etching around the screen and the scrolly-bobbr.
The cream is also a nice touch, kind of like a strawberry pie hehe!
Thankyou. The blanket stitch (I think that's what the stitch is called, from a long-forgotten childhood memory) has been added around the screen and click wheel for strength and to reinforce the fabric.
I've tried to add an inner colour for each of the four cases (there are still two to upload) that compliments the design - and strawberries always need a bit of cream.
Well, they are made of a special type of plastic that is very thin, like paper - you can draw and paint on it and then cut it out and stick it in the oven for about 3 or 4 minutes.
They shrink and curl up and then start to flatten out a little - you have to be quick and squish them down with something flat afterwards without burning yourself...
It takes some practice to get it right, but it's fun when you get the hang of it...
Here's the page that I bought it from: [link] so have a look at that and you might be able to find what to search for - I'd try either 'shrink paper' or 'shrink plastic'.
An American company does a similar product called 'Shrinky Dinks', but most of the come pre-printed with designs for kids to colour in, rather than just have blanks sheets.
There seems to be quite a few similar products o the market, BUT this is the only one I have so far found that makes shrink paper that is suitable for a printer, and that was essential as I wanted to print out the digital design I had made for the wings. All of the others wouldn't accept printer ink as they never had the right coating, so they were only for coloured pencils and markers.
